My Wife, Son and I had a delicious lunch here yesterday. Once again we were HIGHLY IMPRESSED. The Catfish and Shrimp is always delicious and hot and fresh. The employees are always very kind and professional. Definitely a true Gem in the small (but ever growing) city of Taylor.

I love Lucky Duck Cafe! Boot scrapers outside are just the beginning of being in a smaller town practical eatery. It's counter service & they call your name when it's ready. Their catfish is amazing! Love the jalapeño hush puppies & fries are battered. My favorite is the buffalo chicken salad with blue cheese (always more than I need). I often take some home because there is so much chicken. Cute ice cream shop on the side. Always too full to get anything.

Well, if you're like me, when you are starving, tired, and ready to get home quick, but you want really great flavor choices, very friendly gang, and especially quick service. Well then Honey, this is your places. Plus you can call ahead and just pick it up and roll on outa there! I LOVE their Seafood. Pretty tasty with lots of crunch on the fried stuff. I'm a fried shrimp freak. Want a home-made Burger? They have em. Yumm! My next fave is their CFS, gravy, fries, side salad w/Ranch galore. Try it- you'll come back for more. It's a good place.

Best Catfish around Austin! There are many other good choices for those who don't like fish. Like enormous hamburgers and chicken tenders for the kiddos and the sides are excellent as well.

Food was good, service was friendly. Great small town family restaurant. We had the catfish and kiddos had the kids chicken nugget meals. All came out hot and fresh.

Catfish here is delicious! And portions are great. Catfish is crispy, the way it should be -- and often missed at most places. Also has good seasoning. Fries are battered which is the best! Always crunchy. The pie thingy was good but not five star. Simple place with fantastic catfish. I will go back and try the chicken fried steak, which also looked really good.

I was on a day trip, and stopped in the minute I saw it. I was so hungry! This is a casual burger joint but wow, my veggie burger and freshly made french fries were probably the best I have ever eaten. Along with a super large iced tea, of course. I got there about 11:30 a.m. and by noon, the crowd had grown. This is a popular place.

A wonderful kitschy place to step back in time! Lucky Duck was a great meal for us after hopping around the Sweet Eats Berry Farm in Georgetown. We've been meaning to swing by and scope out Taylor with the growth of my husband's job building a new campus out here and the downtown vibes. The interior is gorgeous, a redone garage with great lighting to see Main Street traffic. My husband went for a veggie burger, I went for a seafood sampler basket and we shared the grilled zucchini! I highly recommend this side! It was so tender and seasoning is yum. Our toddler got the chicken tenders which came out piping hot and went for the fries. :) Can't go wrong with these safe staples for a hungry party. After we finished our meal, the reason for stopping by was the best. The ice cream shoppe inside is staffed by the same folks on the meal side. Pick out a bluebell ice cream scoop or two in a cup or cone and enjoy your sweet treat with the little ones! Can't wait to return when we're back around!
